About Us

The Kyoto Action Web site was created and developed by the four individuals presented below. All are volunteers who have freely given their time, talents, and sometimes their money to bring the Kyoto Action site into existence.

Dennis Shibut, Project Director, is a US citizen and the guiding visionary of the Kyoto Action site. He works as a technical communicator and has a scientific background. He is a member of Union of Concerned Scientists and serves as a rep for the Findhorn Foundation, a UN NGO for ecological holistic community living.
Jean-Luc Girard, Database Developer, is a French citizen who has set up and manages the site's interactive database that records and coordinates the pledged actions worldwide. He is a programming engineer and an active member of the international EcoVillage organization. He is also the founder and editor of "Passerelle Eco" in France.
Kevin Price, Graphic Designer, is a UK citizen who has created the graphic details and logo for Kyoto Action. Besides commercial work he frequently donates his talent to helping community cultural projects both in the UK and France where he currently resides.
Philippe Cahn, Web Site Developer, is a French citizen who has built the HTML structure for Kyoto Action and has helped to install it on the Internet. He operates his own company for creating commercial Web sites and frequently uses his communication skills to help local and regional humanitarian causes.
